Starting Soleil

Well, I got started on Soleil (finally) on Saturday night, and made great progress! By Sunday evening, I was past the lace edge at the bottom and was about halfway into the decreases.

I took this picture after I had finished the 25 rows of lace:



I am using KnitPicks' Shine Sport in "Sky" and it is WONDERFUL stuff. Very soft and smooth and a dream to work with after that miserable MicroSpun. I suspect this will be a very quick project, but I might do another one later, I'm enjoying it so much!
