AUGH! :(

I had to rip out TEN rows last night. I tried and tried to fix the problem that I saw, but couldn't do it, so I tinked allll the way across like 150 stitches, dropped TWO MORE stitches, and just got so frustrated I gave up, almost in tears.

Back to the lifeline at the beginning of Chart 2 I go.

*cries*

Edited to add: OK, today has been a quiet day at work and I have now been able to recover all 10 rows in my spare time, so I guess things aren't so bad after all. But I do think I'll be running lifelines every 3 or 4 rows now just out of paranoia! These rows are only getting bigger... :/
